Thankful 2009
Thankful as I think of you
Lord, and all you do
Thankful with eyes to see
That you set me free
Thankful for peace within
Thankful you took my sin
Thankful taught to forgive
In this time, I live....
Thankful for home and family
Oh how precious they are to me
Teaching me what beauty is to see
From a laugh we may share
Just knowing the love is there
Something touches the core of my being
When with thankful eyes I am seeing
The essence of that which is you
Holy Lord, good and true
Beautiful I cannot help but to be thankful
For I am Thankful for those you have brought in my life
Who anointed, touch me to see
Healing, revealing
The beauty, goodness extended by thee
For me, especially, thankful to see
Health, that is a great wealth
Restoration of so many things
I just pray my life, and love will be an offering
Lord, many, many things that I cannot even count
Yet, the blessings of you abound
And without a sound as I search the deepest part of my soul
I know, grateful, thankful, knowing you is my goal
For no one can touch the very heart of who I am
As Only as you can
So I understand your presence
Is the very essence of who I can be
And because of Christ I am free
Thankful today, come what may
You have brought me to this place
Of understanding, and seeing your grace
Thankful, I am blessed
And Blessed, to say, Lord, may
All glory go to thee.....

Father, how great you are, I will never
forget this time of Thanksgiving. For, I
have many reasons to be thankful.
