Standing Up
For That
Which Is Right
Sometimes, you have to stand up for that which is right
To bring light, in the darkness of night...
With all that you could
You may be understood....
And you may do good....
But if you don't stand up and fight
To bring that light
Darkness, will overtake
Unless you Partake...
It is hard to stand up for righteousness sake
When you are the only one who seems to see
And you cannot agree to disagree
With the second and third party..
Oh to set the captive free!
When you feel passionate about that which is Holy
And instead you frustrate...
Theres that melancholy
By golly...
You are at your wits end...
Don't give up my friend!!!
There is hope, from God, that He does send...
You cannot compromise
You cannot give in to the enemies lies
For you see the injustice of it all...
And all you want is to avoid the fall
Yet you are called...
Not called to judge,
And You cannot budge...
Mostly, you cannot hold a grudge
But You must hold your ground
For it is so profound
You must take a stand
And not on shaky sand.....
Listen, God has a plan
When light pierces the darkness
And that which you fear
Now becomes ever so clear....
Has been revealed because you
Have a sense to feel....
To know
That which is right, is worth the fight.....
So hold onto your courage
It is to your advantage....
Stand up for that which is right
For in Gods sight....
In this He does delight....
And with all your might, with all that you believe
He has promised, He will not leave
He will get you through, to do that which
You need to do.....
In this battle of doing that which is right
Through the fight
He will bring insight.....
In the darkness of night...
He will bring His light.....
To show that which is wrong
With him, It will be made Right
Be Strong.....

Father, my Lord, sometimes one has to
get in the battle of standing up for that
which is right. And sometimes the battle is yours. I do pray for wisdom, in those times,
when I must stand up for that which I believe in.
And I just ask, that with all my heart, with your
wisdom, I could stand up, and get a victory,
for your name sake. Give me courage,
give me favor, and give me a way, when
there was not a way....Help me to
stand in your truth, not compromising
Your ways...Oh Lord as I seek you
and pray, help me to remember to
put my armour on, and to stand,
when all else fails. To stand on your truth.
For your word is a lamp unto
my feet and a light unto my path.....
